its no good defending him when the medical team have repeatedly asked him to stop drinking alcohol whilst rehabilitating after injury, it clearly affects the healing process, blokes an overpaid nob, who could be a big player but will never achieve it.

I'm not defending it.
But I don't think going out on the piss once with his team mates makes someone a pisshead, and he's a hell of a lot better than he used to be.
And on the day in question, Randolph's behaviour is far more of an issue.

TBF Cresswell was only spotted with him getting breakfast in maccy d's. he wasn't seen in the market porter and he definitely wasn't still out at lunchtime/afternoon in shoreditch.

He's been spotted twice, once with Randoloh, once with JOB,?
Hardly a piss head ffs, he's always out out when spooted both times..hardly even trying to cover up he's been drinking..
The babbling of morons
That's twice more than probably 90% of the rest of our squad! Anyone seen Cresswell out till the early hours getting pissed on two occasions whilst injured? Thought not! He's a professional and will do everything he can to get back to full fitness so he can play the game he loves.
Players like Mark Noble are a credit to the sport. I don't think he's the most naturally gifted footballer, his speed let's him down as we all know. But he works hard, loves the game and loves his team. It's a shame Carroll hasn't learned a thing or two from him.

Problem with him is that he's so fucking fragile he only need one night out to set him back. It was meant to be 4-6 weeks, looks like 4 months.

Whilst I agree he shouldn't have been seen out twice in the last fortnight, suggestions of him being a pisshead are a little unfair nowadays. He's settled down massively since he ditched Nolan and hooked up with Mucklow.

In an extract published by the Sun Vardy recounts how one of his favourite drinks was Skittles mixed with a bottle of vodka.
Vardy's penchant for the strange drink came before the striker had reached the Premier League with Leicester City.
The former non-league footballer wrote how he was struggling to recuperate from a dead leg that had kept him out of action for over two weeks.
"I had a three-litre vodka bottle at home I would put loads of Skittles sweets in," says Vardy.
Vardy says he used to put at least '20 batches' of Skittles into the vodka bottle, allowing them to dissolve before topping up the concoction with fresh packets.
"After that, you can drink the vodka neat and it tastes just like Skittles. When I was bored at home in the evening I'd pour myself a glass, sit back and enjoy. The vodka was decent but it wasn't doing much for my dead leg, which didn't stop bleeding for ages."
Vardy did not think anything of drinking the alcoholic mix until he spoke to Foxes physio, David Rennie.
Rennie, who has been part of Leicester City's medical team since 1999, confronted the forward as his injury continued to show no signs of healing.
When Vardy admitted he enjoyed relaxing with the drink, Rennie quickly pointed out the negative side effects of consuming alcohol whilst injured.
"Well, that will be why, then",' Dave said, looking a little shocked, before going on to explain the science behind it and how the alcohol was damaging the healing process," Vardy writes.

No fluke the absolute best players don't drink, train as hard as they can and stay out of trouble. Carroll simple couldn't give a fuck, he's all the money he needs, kid and Bint.
He would have been England's number 9, just doesn't care.
When I do an all nighters it's not he next day but the one after. You can feel it in your legs, calfs etc and you fucking ache. You certainly don't feel 80%, let alone 100%. Body (especially his) needs all the help he can get and he should be resting as soon and as much as possible.
He's a fucking cunt

Exactly. It's even worse when you're trying to get back to full fitness after being out. It simply doesn't help and he shouldn't be drinking.

One Mac~ Agree fully with that. It's unprofessional for a start It's not like just the occasional pint (which for any athlete is wrong) but you hear so much about him being out on the tiles till the early hours on several occasions It's not he's being paid peanuts either Quite honestly I hope we never sign another geordie again There's only Pop Robson that I can remember who was a great professional for us We had all these problems years ago with Keith Robson They're all pissheads & not worth the trouble Reading between the lines Sakho's attitude seems to have improved. Let's hope we see him playing again soon
